Q: How do I register as a seller?  


Registering as a seller with Ownersellers.com is simple and free. The best way to register is to click the "Login/Register" button on the top left hand side of the homepage, click on “Login as Business Seller” button and then click on “New business seller? Register here”, complete your personal details. Click on the “Submit” button to create your account.

Q: What identification documents do you require?  

In order to verify your identity under the Money Laundering Regulations 2007 and because we do not meet with you we have now joined an electronic verification system. This system allows us to verify you from basic details using electronic data,however it is not a credit check of any kind so will have no effect on you or your credit history.


We do require copy of passport or photo driving licence from all registered owners and a copy of a recent residential utility bill.




Q: How much does it cost to advertise? 


Ownersellers.com is ABSOLUTELY FREE (Premium Packages such as an energy performance certificate (EPC) or a sales memorandum will incur a cost). We will advertise and market your business for sale on over 30 websites.


If you sell your business then NO commission is payable to Ownersellers.com




Q: What’s the catch?

 
There is no catch! Ownersellers.com is genuinely FREE to business sellers. There is no listing fee or sales commission. At some stage in the future we will charge buyers a small micro-fee to access the Business details but at the moment the service is also FREE FOR BUYERS!




Q: How do I pay for my listing? 


Your listing is FREE! You only pay for an EPC or a full Sales Memorandum if you want one.




Q: How do I create my business advert? 


  • Login to your Business Seller account.

  • Click either “Add New Listing-UK” or “Add New Listing-International” tab in your control panel.

  • Complete all the details about the business you wish to sell and click on the “Save your advert” button to ensure that all the information is saved.

  • Once you’ve completed these steps, we will review your listing and make any suggestions about the wording of your advert. 

  • We do not publish you advert until you have approved your listing.

When your advert and sales memorandum have been finalised your listing will then be live on Ownersellers.com and 30+ other websites.
