Q: How do I register as a seller? 

Registering as a seller with is simple and free. The best way to register is to click the "Login/Register" button on the top left hand side of the homepage, click on “Login as House Seller” button and then click on “New house seller? Register here”, complete your personal details. Click on the “Submit” button to create your account.

Q: What identification documents do you require? 

In order to verify your identity under the Money Laundering Regulations 2007 and because we do not meet with you we have now joined an electronic verification system. This system allows us to verify you from basic details using electronic data, however it is not a credit check of any kind so will have no effect on you or your credit history

We do require copy of passport or photo driving licence from all registered owners and a copy of a recent residential utility bill.

Q: Is you service really free?

Yes absolutely. We don’t charge you a listing fee or a sales commission. We are a revolutionary way of selling properties and businesses. At some stage in the future buyers will pay us a micro-fee for access to the properties listed but for now it’s also free for buyers.

Q: What’s the catch?

There is no catch! The service is free for sellers and is currently also free for buyers. 

Q: Will my home be on Rightmove ?

Yes - we will advertise your home on all the major property search engines including Rightmove, Houseladder and Houseshop. In addition, your home will appear on 20+ other websites.

Q: Will you value my property?

We can provide you with a price guide by email which lists a number of similar properties that have sold and are currently for sale within close proximity to you. However, most people have a very good idea of how much their property is worth these days with all the information available online. In addition, we believe it is important for you to have control over setting the asking price.

Q: What areas do you cover?

We list properties and businesses all over the world.

Q: How quickly can you visit my property?

As soon as you have instructed us, your local agent will be in touch to book a home visit to take photographs, compile a floorplan and produce an energy performance certificate (EPC). This usually takes 2 to 3 working days.

Q: What is an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)?

An EPC gives a property an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and is valid for 10 years. You must have an EPC before the marketing of your property can commence, otherwise you could be fined. We can produce an EPC for you when we visit to take photographs and compile a floorplan. Alternatively, if you believe your property may already have one within the last 10 years, we can download this for you.

Q: How do I create my property advert? 

  • Login to your House Seller account.

  • Click either “Add UK Properties” or “Add International Properties” tab in your control panel.

  • Complete all the details about the property you wish to sell and upload photos, floorplan, EPC etc. and click on the “Save your advert” button to ensure that all the information is saved.

  • Once you’ve completed these steps, we will review your listing and make any suggestions about the wording of your advert. 

  • We do not publish you advert until you have approved your listing.

Q: Can I use my own photos and description?

Yes - we are happy to use photographs and descriptions that you provide us. However, they must be a true representation of your property. All property advertising must comply with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

Q: Can I make changes to my property advertisement?

Yes prior to your advert being made live - you can view and make any changes you want, whenever you want:-

  • Login to your House Seller account.

  • Click the “Manage Properties” tab in your control panel.

  • Click on the “Edit” button next to the property you wish to amend.

  • Amend as required and click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

If your listing is live you will not be able to make any amendments (other than change the status via “Manage Properties” tab in your control panel) and you will need to email the details of any changes required to us at and we will update for you.

Q: How long does it take for my advert to go live?

Once our agent has visited and you have approved your advertisement, your property will be distributed across our network of websites normally within a few hours.

Q: What happens when a buyer wants to view my property?

We will forward to you any viewing requests/questions received from any potential buyers together with their contact details so that you will be able to reply to them directly either by email or telephone.

You will also be able to view their contact details if you login in to your account. They will be displayed if you click on the blue box at the top of the page which is titled “Buyers Connected”

You will be responsible for showing them around and answering any questions they may have.

Q: How long will it take to sell my property/business?

The time it takes to sell any property/business depends on factors such as location, price and the buyer demand levels in any area. We suggest you keep an eye on how long similar properties/businesses are taking to sell in your area as that will give you a realistic indication of how long it may take to sell.

Q: Do you financially qualify buyers? 

When a buyer registers with us we ask the buyer how they will fund the purchase. We also ask the buyer how they will fund the purchase when they complete the book a viewing request form.

Q: How secure is

At we make use of SSL certificates which use encryption to ensure your details remain secure. SSL is the industry-standard for ensuring data transferred between two points remain intact and secure. We use PayPal to handle our transactions on their servers, which adds an extra level of security when making payments on Rest assured that we take the security of your details extremely seriously and we strive to maintain our 100% security track record.
